Simulation Pictures

These are pictures of what The Oncology Department at The Universoty of Maryland calls "The " Simulation." Its basically where they take my body and line up the Laser Beams with my Cancerous areas, they then make the marks as you see on my body and calibrate them to match with the Radiation Beam. This helps so everytime I come in we dont have to do the set up all over again, these marks are permanant .
There are a few along my side but I couldnt get them in the pictures.

  1. You will just need a few new tattoos when this is all finished.

  2. Hey what happened to all the hair on your chest? I guess they had to shave it off! Oh well, it's only hair and it will grow back...hopefully it won't be itchy when it starts coming back in. Maybe, if you're lucky, none of the grey will come back! (giggle)
