met a finer group of folks in my life like the people that have taken care of me at the UMMC Radiation Oncology Department here in Maryland. They literally are the nicest people you could meet. They treat you like you are the only person in this hospital. They have treated me like royalty and they have saved my life, I love them all and will miss them.After my final treatment the nurses presented a Diploma to me for satisfactory completing my Radiation Treatments.
These folks were my Radiation Technicians, they took care of me every single day, Im lucky, I got the best Technicians in UMMC; pictured from Left to right are John, Chuck and Lollie. Not pictured is Elenni.

Okay so I am all done with Radiation and Chemo. Im done ! We hope that my Hoagie sized Tumor has shrunk, we hope that the cancer is gone and the Cancer has not spread. Debbi has been instrumental through the last 5 weeks in my treatment, she has changed her schedule and missed work to ensure that I didnt miss a single treatment.
I now have about 4 weeks to heal from all the poison that has been put into my body. My next Doctor Appointment is August 25th.
So where do we go from here? Im not sure. I have basically a month to allow my body and me to stabalize and heal from the abuse it has gotten. My next doctor appointment is at the end of August, I havent been told but Im sure at some point I will be re-scanned to see what the progression of the Cancer is before my Surgery somtime in October.
