It's unfortunate to report that Gary has been admitted to the hospital, for a few days.
Over the weekend he started getting high temperature fevers, over 102.4.
On Monday, Dr. Horiba insisted I bring him to the hospital immediately. She had blood drawn and found his white blood cell count was terribly low. Having low cell counts interrupts the body's ability to fight off germs and bacteria. She felt it was necessary to admit him and give him antibiotics and IV fluids for a few days.
We do not know what his body is trying to fight off , however, they did a CT Scan to make sure he does not have pneumonia....Yeay! no Pneumonia, ( that's a good thing).
I visited Gary today, and he is still very tired and nausea . But hanging in there very stong.
I will keep all posted and I hope he will be home soon to update you himself.
Keep Gary in your thoughts hope that he has better days coming very soon. He deserves it!
Debbi.
